January 12, 2007, Newsletter Issue #35: Choosing Your Side Dishes

Tip of the Week

When ordering frozen prepared foods, you may not be able to pick the side dishes that accompany your entree. That's because some companies insist on choosing the side dish they believe best compliments your frozen dinners. If you have a problem with this, ask up front if you can make any of the food decisions in assembling the meal. Also, make sure you tell the company you're ordering from if you have an allergy to specific foods or spices, or want to stay away from certain foods due to dietary restrictions. The ordering company will be able to readjust the menu for you based on your needs and restrictions.
