November 17, 2006, Newsletter Issue #27: Wedding Day Food Deliveries

Tip of the Week

Food can be the biggest expense at a wedding. Wedding experts say it can be less expensive to arrange for a food delivery at your wedding than hiring a caterer. However, you will need a plan to set the food up. Will the company set it up for you? Will your wedding venue? Decide whether you want buffet style or a sit down dinner and then you can figure out the logistics. Buffet style food is generally cheaper, experts say.

If you decide to order prepared food for your wedding don't forget about the issue of the non-food items you will need. Unless your wedding venue provides it, you will be responsible for items such as dishes, table linens and silverware. You may have to look into renting these items.
